Top car, top bloke - many thanks. Just a quick note to say my Dad is very happy with his new Rover. And the haynes manual was a really nice touch - it`ll have him tinkering away I`m sure, whether he needs to or not! As you say - the mirror switch is probably just a quick fix as suggested above.
