If you go round a bend or roundabout, my saloon used to lean, a bit like driving a jelly.

Phil...I suspect that they just removed the towball because the 'towbar' isnt just a piece bolted on to the car.
My Witter towbar actually replaces a girder thingy thats part of the car chassis at the back.
I would doubt if they had that original part to replace the present towbar.
Put the ball back and get a caravan to go with the car !
Enjoy it whatever though.

Thanks Derek, I hate to think what a 1.8 tourer has towed! I knew about the girder, I have bought one to replace it. Their words to me were that they didn't think I'd know as you can't see it. or words to that effect!

Phil mine was listed by MG ROVER at over £30.000 mind you it was built to my spec and I did not pay that much with the discount etc
