Don't forget to add Gary Moore to that list. I was lucky enough to see him in Edinburgh a few years ago, his live version of Parisiene Walkways is truly stunning.

All the greats are going but there's nobody taking their place, name a young guitar virtuoso?

Don't forget Gary Moore teamed up with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker with an album Around The Next Dream in 1993. Must listen to record. The band were simply called BBM.

Only one I've seen recently is John Mayer, great blues player but by all reckoning he has the personality of a haddock!
