Thanks gents and i agree, i would rather go myself ive done some good reading on what to look for, grinding gears odd worn tyres aircon compressors seized, and the like and water or damp carpets.
And as i said before this isnt a rush buy.

Dont forget the heater valves are prone to sticking, and the gears are usually ok, its the diff that can 'clunk'
