Don't understand. I wrote that i replaced now all fluid with correct and now no more limp modes..
And now my question is: This Jatco transmission in D mode starts from 1 or from 2nd gear? Because if i start driving in "2" mode, there was no switchings at all. Last edited by Oxygen; 11th October 2015 at 14:24.. |

OK, today i tested at our parking, seems that there is another problem in the box. Very long swithing to 4 (seems that 4) gear. Up to 2800 revs with minimal accelerator.

My father had a similar problem on a Ford, it turned out to be the Speed Sensor, I think its located on the outside of the box, can be seen from under the car.

If you use very light accelerator pressure then it's very possible that the transmission will hold onto lower gears for longer. This is definitely the case when the engine and transmission are cold, for a few minutes after starting, by design. I wonder whether you are looking for a fault when there isn't one. Can you test drive the car in a normal variety of traffic conditions? Simon
