Exhaust replacement

I've just ordered a rear silencer for my 1.8T saloon which should arrive in the next day or so. The car still has its original one piece at the moment which will mean cutting the existing pipe in the appropriate place before fitting the new part. Can anyone recommend an independant garage in Colchester or the surrounding area who might be able to fit it for me? I'd prefer to stay away from the major exhaust/tyre places as they're likely to charge inflated prices - assuming they agree to do it at all.

Don't know anyone in your area as I live in South Wales but when I replaced mine on my V6 a few years ago I went to place that made exhausts and they did it for me for a tenner. Maybe you have one near you

I left Colchester in 2004, but I used to go to Frank Shaikly when I needed a garage.
