today i replaced the silver/grey dash trim with a good used one as the old one had cracked in two places.

Fitted new alternator, now no flickering lights.Next tasks for Saturday new rear back box Sunday clean egr and change intercooler o rings,
Fitted inline thermostat. rear discs pads and shoes.New rear springs,Wiper blades,Pollen filter, emptied plenun |(awaiting plenum cover)Air filter renewed,new crankcase filter fitted. Last edited by tony062622; 28th October 2016 at 19:33.. Reason: other tasks. |

Took the bumper off to de-fog the headlights. Came up really well, considering I only spent £6 on some wet and dry, then used some t-cut and car polish I had on the shelf. Noticed my Shannon tube needs replacing, didn't notice the ducting that was perfect for it in the garage till I'd put the bumper back on. Nuts.

Just finished changing the pcv filter, oil filter, oil and fixed the washer jets.

Fed the leather with Gliptone, vacced, washed, waxed with Auto Glym, then stood back in admiration ................... as you do!

Sorry just seen your message 19 00hrs was out this afternoon football match. It has stopped the flickering.had it checked before did job and they said alternator was knackered (local garage and he knew he wasnt getting the job so fair enough)
