An excellent breakfast meet. After saying goodbye we went and visited Lilian a very sad lady, she advised us not to visit Derek as he would not have recognised us. We left her at 11.30 and didn’t get home until ten to six, stuck on the M1 for an hour and a quarter, absolutely horrendous. Rev Last edited by Rev Jules; 11th December 2017 at 13:58.. |

Okay I understand not bringing the Yellow Peril out in that snow, I must confess I took the wifes Disability Vehicle, I keep the Green Monster in a rented garage about a quarter mile from home and didn`t fancy the walk in the snow.
I have reached to conclusion Rover and Zt owners are smashing people, I must say a thank you to all who turned up and made it such a great morning, had a set Full English and it had every thing one expects of a F E breakfast, Thank you Dawn and Julian for popping over to see Lilian, seems poor old Derik is in a bad way, as they say he is in the best place. Pleased you all arrived home safely and hope the weather is a little better for the Ugly Duckling meeting in January 2018, Mo and I wish you all a very joyful Christmas and look forward to our 2018 meetings.

Thanks for organising this, John. Glad I made the journey. The MG felt very stable in the awful driving conditions and it was a good test for her. Great company and breakfast.
