Ah OK. The interior blower is irrelevant to almost everything that's going on in a car except its own job.

I'd start with a new belt Mike, and worth replacing the air con belt while you are there. The tensioner itself is a bit more tricky to change with the engine in situ, and they aren't known for failing either. If you have changed belts before, then you will have a good idea as to how tight a good one is and can check how it feels when you change the serpentine belt. |
