![]() Just home from a cracking day out. Plenty of sunshine, no rain to be had.
Cracking breakfast with 18 people sitting down for food. Then we convoyed into Hayle to have a look around the shops. Then a further convoy back to Ross & Anita’s country pad overlooking Praa sands. Then a spirited drive home. A round trip of 205 miles and Banana never missed a beat.

![]() No kidding Pete, Did you see the road had sprung a leak on your way home, I nipped into Norwich after you left and water was spouting from a couple of places in the middle of the carriageway.
More roadworks on the way next week...

![]() Quite straightforward once you get the hang of it. My wife used to make them and I got roped in to help, now I make them better than she does! I love spring rolls but every time we are at a party or whatever the spring rolls are always very veg heavy . . . . spot the meat and the veg is in hulking great lumps, I'm not the world's biggest veg fan. Of course there's veg in mine but I put the veg in a food processor so that its chopped up fine and the meat to veg ratio is about 2:1, along with a mix of sauces, spices etc. If this is going to carry on I could do with a bigger food processor!
The 200 I did for my wife's friends party on Saturday there, they cooked 170-180 of the 200 and I noticed as we were leaving there was only a handful left in the dish, I suspect they disappeared by the time everybody left. |
