CDTi top coolent hose metal insert
Hi all, pondering using a inline thermostat housing for the top hose thermostat mod rather than inserting one into the hose itself. Can anyone tell me what the metal insert in the hose is? Looks like 2 pieces with large flanges bolted together. Strikes me that if that was removed and replaced with the thermostat housing it would be a nice neat job

Andy, the bolt together job is really unnecessary, and all that is required to do the job is a Jubilee clip and one of THESE
So for around a fiver and fifteen minutes of your time, you can have a nice toasty warm heater If you want, have a short run east, and I'll show you exactly how simple it really is Brian |
