I think I'm through the virus.
After days of high temps I felt it break in the early hours of yesterday morning, I was drenched in sweat and there was a weird smell along with that. on Monday I was fairly drained and had only eaten a bowl of soup since Friday, I couldn't face a morsel but knew I needed something. I asked my friend Shaun to get me some malted milk biscuits and I dipped them in a cuppa to make them easy to get down, I had six at 43 calories each to start my system. I got up this morning and my temp is 36.3 with a total calmness throughout me at last. I hope there's no encore to this.
Thanks for all the best wishes. |

Thanks for describing the coronavirus symptoms Michael and I'm pleased to hear that you are recovering. It's interesting to know that it bears a strong resemblance to flu.
A few of my friends and a relative have told the same story. With one exception, the other members of their households did not show symptoms and were not unwell. I'd be interested to know whether or not that was your experience too. Simon

Brill news Mike, I'm looking forward to heading to Wigan as soon as circumstances allow to give you a hand sorting out the electrical jobs on your ZT.

A slight problem.
I had to go to A+E on Christmas eve, I've been having coughing fits since last Monday and it got to the point where I couldn't breathe, it's a side effect of the virus and my lungs are clear the tests showed. The biggest concern right now is food as I can't eat solids just now, I've been on complan for a few days now or I'm going to starve, the slightest smell sets off waves of nausea and I have no control over it. The ride is a bumpy one even after the virus has gone, I've yet to get my appetite back before I can put it behind me. I hope everyone had the best day they could in the madness.

Let's hope now that all the anti-bodies your system has been making will now go around moping up all those remaining viruses.

Take the positive's. Lungs clear is the main one, your appetite will come back. All the best for the new year.
