MG ZT-T for sale 2005 135CDti
My MGZT_T bought from new at Marshall's in Bedford, is up for sale.
2005 - 135CDTi -- Bodywork in great condition. 175,000 New Power Steering Pump Fitted High Pressure Diesel Pump rebuilt 4 years ago Both Brand New Rear Backplates and Brake Shoes Fitted last year Brake Pads renewed PCV Filter renewed MAF sensor replaced with Genuine Bosch 4 Good Tyres Last serviced in 2021 Currently SORN as no more time to work on it. All original paperwork with the vehicle including brochures, two manuals and the sale documents. Also Haynes Manual. Here are the points to note Clutch changed with a club member, but a problem occurred with leaking gear box oil. The only thing this can be is the guide tube rubber seal was either over tightened or damaged when the new guide tube was fitted with the new clutch. Anyone who's able to take this one should do it in a day with help. Looking to sell for offers to reflect the overall condition of the vehicle. offers over £500 Last edited by larryr123; 31st January 2023 at 21:07.. |

Update - Sale or repair
Just an update as I've been out of action for some time.
Got round to thinking of this again after an illness. I posted on the technical forum day before yesterday asking if anyone is willing and skilled at clutches and can successfully deal with what I believe is a guide tube issue when the clutch was changed last year. I'm also open to offers on the sale of the vehicle as I'm no longer planning to use it myself, having switched reluctantly to a more modern option at the pressured request of the memsahib. Isn't it ever thus? Regards Larry |

Another update. Just fired her up and she's running as sweet as a nut as a good common rail diesel should.
I've pretty much run out of time to deal with my old girl any longer, so must let her go at some point. Great condition throughout - just needs the clutch guide tune refitting and she's as good as new. Open to sensible offers. Cheers Larry |

Still open to offers. Would love to see this go to a club member or enthusiast that would keep it on the road, rather than the unthinkable.
PM and I'm open to discussion and have a chat about the background of the vehicle. Regards Larry |

Looking for any reasonable offers to shift the old girl this weekend to an enthusiast who will restore it and put it back on the road.
Hate to have to send it to the scrap yard, but it must go soon. It is driveable, although SORN at the moment. Regards Larry |
