Tell me about it! in the case of the MGF a trained auto-locksmith could not break-in any other way and he tried a lot of very crafty tricks ... it was either rip the roof of smash a glass ...!

OK - just went to do some testing

- Locked or superlocked we can always open with the key (phew!) [at least whilst the car is powered anyway]

- if you lock the car via the key fob it SUPERLOCKS

- if you lock the car via the key it locks [but not super/double], press the fob lock button and it superlocks

Nice one! Obviously your testing was more rigorous than mine (although it is raining here!!)
