Hi Scootchick. I will be interested in doing a leg of the RBR, now i checked my work rota and i am off on the 21st and the 22nd June, now i am not familiar with the west side of Scotland that much eg Glasgow area, but i am willing to do a Highland section as i know the Grantown-on-Spey area and Inverness area, also i know the Caithness area (As i usually take holidays in these areas), what to do is get back to me and work a route out. Graham.

Default Great Weekend!

Hi All,

Sorry for not posting sooner, only got back yesterday evening after staying at Lauder for a few extra days. Really enjoyed the event, and it was good to meet up with some of you. Very aware I didn't manage to speak to everyone from the forum so sorry for missing those I did. There were that many interesting vehicles to look at I don't know where the day went. I didn't even get as far as looking at the Land Rovers! It was great to see so many 75's and ZT's, I think we made a really good addition to the range of other vehicles there. Well done to Mike for walking away with the Modern Rover prize, it was great to see it go to a 75 this year.

I'd just like to extend my thanks to Trevor and all of the SARR committee for organising such a good event. I know full well these things don't happen without effort, so all credit to them for such a great couple of days.

Hope to see some of you here in Cumbria in July.

Paul

Judging from the photos, it looks like a superb day was had by all. I had planned that this would be our first show after moving north of the border, but due to circumstances beyond my control, we're still in Bristol nearly a month after the move should have happened.

Hopefully we should be sorted and moved up in the next 2 - 3 weeks and there's always next year.

Hi Tim

That's a shame as it was a really good day. Hopefully you will have moved by next year!!

Whereabouts in Scotland are you headed?

If all goes according to plan, we will be in Clynder, near Helensburgh. 1 massive house move and 2 business startups at the same time. I now know the true meaning of stress.
