Default That Oil Catastrophe....

Whilst all the media has been about our new leader(s), I can't help that I feel this unfolding tragedy for the local environment has been overshadowed, they say a picture tells a thousand words,so here are a few from one of my favourite websites, the quality of their images/stories are excellent.Lets hope this can be sorted soon now.P.

If those figures are even half true in that report it makes for one very scary scenario.P.

The US should take BP for every penny they have,
then they may learn a Proper lesson.

While I find the pictures and situation appaling, I'm impressed with Boston's website and always visit there for the remarkable pictures

They wont, BP are half Amoco, an American company.

The Rig owner is responsible for the faulty BOP, not BP.

What do you think would be achieved by this, the price of oil exploration would increase and the consumer would have to pay the price in the end, causing another serious recession.

Anyway, we are all guilty. We create the market, whether you are involved in the airline industry or drive a car we all use oil, and can't do without it..

The Gulf of Mexico supplies at least 1/3 of all the U.S.s oil needs and as long as it remains relatively cheap(by our standards anyway), like the Exon Valdize, once this is over it will be soon forgoten.........providing it does'nt ruin the Coastline.I think this could well turn out to be one too far, lets hope B.P. can sort it soon.Going at tad off thread(sorry),ref Boston and their site, here is a stunning set of images from Iceland, the link at the very end(last three pictures is worth a look too).P.......p.p.s John, changed a FAFC and an FMU to-day....lots of pennies methinks
