Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I followed that link above and it seemed to be pushing another small stick on screen unit a bit like a TomTom which I still have.

Besides I have spent too much on this unit now to be getting more gear.

I spent a bit of time messing about with the IGO8 this afternoon and although it seems a bit complicated for my pea brain I think I will have to stick with it for the time being.

Perhaps we should have a thread on how to use the IGO8?

I printed the users manual out (88 Pages) but that swished over my head too.

Thanks anyway.

I have only been using IGO a week and not really even that as my 75 is not my daily. I think I'm finding my way around it pretty well so far. I have my Home location set up in it, added several points of Interest files in plus the latest traffic cam database and found it very up to date - it triggered for some cams which were only installed a few weeks ago locally, it took me a while to work out what was causing all the noise. I gave Primo a brief test today and my initial impression (right or wrong) was that it is a much simpler than IGO. It does seem to configure itself automatically, in that it finds the TMC and the GPS receiver itself.

I've had a few goes at reading the manual, but it is not easy to take in with the unit not in front of you.

Hi Edd,

Primo is available as a stand alone unit as the link shows But is also available as software that will run on your unit in the same way that IGO8 does, no need for a seperate unit.

Tony fry is the man to contact about it.
