Free car advert offer!
In a previous life on the forum, I was one of the people who championed to have the ability to post comments on others' 'car for sale' adverts removed.
Now, recognising that the above change deprived a significant minority of members the opportunity to rubbish others' cars, asking prices, colour of the tyres, etc. I am putting right my actions of the past. I have returned to advertise my CDT for sale on the forum. https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...d.php?t=314920 Please gentlemen, feel free to comment in this thread on my exorbitant asking price, the undeclared faults that you can all see in the photographs, the undesirable colour of the brake pipes etc. This is your opportunity to really have a ball! The few with no interest in cars but a focus on world affairs can even discuss how the failure of socialism may have contributed to this working class peasant having to sell his Rover, if you so wish. Let's see your best efforts! Last edited by MSS; 27th August 2021 at 14:43.. |

Nothing bad to say from me Maninder, it’s a fine car at a very good price.
If it had been auto I would have snapped it up (I have a manual diesel but much prefer driving an auto)

Welcome back Maninder, albeit until you sell your car, good to see you.
Because it’s against club rules to hold two accounts, I’ve merged your new ‘Reformed MSS’ account into your old retired one. Please use the username MSS when logging in and the password you set up for your ‘Reformed MSS’ login. |

Ronnie and Alan,
Be careful with the positive comments - I may feel like staying! For me, the 'Thanks' tag by Ronnie on one of my posts from the pre-retirement days remains one of life's major achievements! Quote:

Thanks Andy for your comment. When I put the car up in the other section, I was going to follow DMGRS' example and offer a packet of sweets for every enquiry and fudge to every viewer who came over for a physical viewing/testdrive. But the fudge looked too nice to give away so I ate it all myself. With your comment, I am expecting buyers to start gazumping each other and offer me fudge for a viewing! |
