Wow, I am genuinely surprised by the results so far, Three are actually in the lead when I would have thought they would be 3rd or 4th! Also very surprised at Vodafone's place, I was with them for around 15 years however in the end I left because their data rates are appalling and their 3/4g network is very patchy.

One the subject of Three I was in Norwich a couple of days ago and glanced at my phone only to see 'LTE' on the signal indicator! Yep full 4G! That said I was a little disappointed that the speed test only came back at 25Mbs down and 10mbs up which isn't far off what I get on 3g.

Default GiffGaff

I pay £12 a month for my service and get more thasn enough of everything for it. When my Blackberry went west I traded it for a used Samsung S3 mini at £100 that all in all is a great combination that has served well for about a year now.

Me and er indoors are on Talktalk (Vodaphone ) sim only deals, 300 mins unlimited text naff 250 data, a fiver each per month + free allowances etc...

Was on EE / T-Mobile but reception here is naff.

Not interested in using the phone for anything else other than photographs and calls, so no need for anything fancy like 3 or 4 G.

Switched to TT sims when old contracts ended, as reception in the rural area here for Vodaphone and O2 is excellent.

I am with three.

Because I use the internet a lot and loads of texts and minutes for work.
I have £30 Monthly contract with basically unlimited in everything...
Its good value for money as I get all nice phones when upgrading and coverage is very good.

Mind You my monthly plan started 5 days ago.

We have three mobile phones with Virgin, their fastest 160 meg broadband, full tv package and house phone too - our monthly bill is "reasonably high"

We moved house just over a year ago and I phoned Virgin to cancel our service as I was (half) thinking about going to SKY.

Virgin offered me a deal to keep me in my new property - that mobile phone package for me and my wife and also upgrade my 60meg broadband to 160 for free - I said yes with no hesitation

It is amazing what you can screw out of Virgin when you threaten to leave them

I was on Orange, from their early days, moved to O2 around four years ago, then GifGaf around 10 months back which is hosted on O2. For personal use, I have only ever bothered with PAYG and make very few calls on it.

I put £10 credit on the GG and with accrued credit its showing around £10.30 now.

For mobile data - laptop in caravan, I started with Voda PAYG, they robbed me of £20 of credit due to none use for 6months, so then I found Samba (on Three) free data and used that for 12 months, until they folded taking 10Gb of my credit.

I'm presently on Three for data, but its rather wasteful having to buy 1Gb for £10 and having it expire after one month, each time we use the van. I need everlasting PAYG credit as I had with Voda and Samba, but on the Three 4G network.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I am on three at the moment and will be going to pay as you go when the contract ends. I won't be paying three a penny as I bought a duel sim phone from Hong kong . That way my friends an family can phone me on 3 and if I need to phone them I can do that on the talktalk sim. Much cheaper all round and the new phone is far better than my old iPhone 4s.
