I normally travel along Melish Road, Walsall Road and Bosty Lane around 5 ish during the week. If I see you I will offer the royal wave. I will be in a white gold 75 with a club badge on its grille.

I always want to wave but have no idea whether they're club members. They might not even consider their car special.

There are some bargains out there to be had even thought about kitting the wife out in a 75 tourer but it got sold and not found one as good for the money since. Read you got your cart sorted as well has anyone mentioned Terry @ T&S Autos in Stourbridge, can't recommend him highly enough for any future bits you may need. Ash

There's a large element of people who as said, just drive these cars because that's the car they have.
There must be people like me/us who have purposely gone out of our way to buy them though. I'll try my hand at waving at the Max-Power ZRs next time. I like that 'salute' gesture, that's great!

Yesterday, I saw a guy in a green ZT driving out of Bury town centre. I was having a good gawk at it from the passenger seat of my bro's Kia Rio when he looked across at me, so I gave him a big grin and a 'thumb up' to show that I was actually admiring it, rather than thinking "What a piece of cr@p!", but then it clearly wasn't anyway Someone on here maybe? |

WE should have a 'When good cars go bad' section... where we can put pics of 75/Zt's or any others that take out fancy where the owner has clearly had a mental breakdown and done very bad mods to their cars.
Mine is now in the Refurb alloy place 'Planetworlduk' so won't be seen until Sat pm if anyone is driving around looking for me with a wave all pre-practiced Ash

Ash,
I live not far from you, so I will look out for you when out and about and give you a wave. Hope to see you at the Nano meet next weekend? Tom. |
