3 Speed Fan Replacement
Hi guys,
Recently I removed the fan of my Rover 75 (2.0 V6 Petrol - year 2000) to replace the bushes since the fan wasn't working on low speed (did the demist test). This is the video from Arctic I used to try and open the fan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls1BJGxUoPo Unfortunately, the bolts were rusted shut and one of them broke, the housing was also rusted inside so finally I decided it'll be better to buy a new one. My question is: do I buy a replacement from the same model (petrol 3 speed) or could I replace it with a 2 speed model (petrol or diesel, which year?) with gold resistor and what modifications do I have to do for it to work? Arctic Rover 75 Rewired 2 speed fan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uI2R2ILORLo I know these questions have already been asked by I didnt fully understood the answers found or haven't found the right thread. Thank you, Sergiu |
