Weather is really dull and wet here, I'll set off at 10, and head down via Glasgow (M77 - M74) coming home I'll go via the A71 to make it shorter, I would have used the A70 but it's twisty and in a poor old state, dont think it would do the already worn top strut bearings and isolators much good!!

Sorry I can't be there. Hope you all have a good day and don't get waterlogged or sunburnt!

Default Gretna

I have just been out and put some go go juice in the V6, and am waiting for my mate Ronnie, we are taking the route over the top to the meet, as it is a good drive, and also will most probably go the same way back

So we should be there at around 1200 hrs for the show, and a great shame that Fraser can't be there.

Have been up since around 0630 hrs and gave the car a quick wipe down, as I spent the day yesterday cleaning the ZT, but have had a problems with that so will have to come in grubby Gruple, and will be asking the experts for some advice

Stu

That's a great shame Fraser

Stovies packed .

Only four sadly as we scoffed a heap of it for dinner last night .

Setting off fairly soon via the eastern europeans carwash.

They still make me feel edgy ..

It wouldn't be the first time a white Tomcat arrived at a 75 meet 😀

Had a nice day at Gretna, I was in two minds about coming, after yesterday, but I missed it last year, and would have let a few folk down, had I not come.
Was nice to see a few faces I hadn't seen for a while, Aldo,George,Trevor,Graham Kinghorn, and meet new ones ,such as Harry,(AGUY),Kbonney 88 (Kev) Lady Zed (Anna),and Mininuts(Paul). Thanks to all who listened today,it was appreciated and helped a lot. Will post car photos on here, and Zed picture on my Zed thread

Cool

What a Grand day out and the weather stayed kind although it did turn a wee bit chilly. 40 cars I think was the final count.

Well chuffed for Banana to be voted Best MG ZT. Many thanks to those that voted, Cheque's will be sent as per norm in a plain brown Jiffy bag.

Well done to Aldo for winning Best in Show. And well done to the other 3 that also won.

Thanks to everyone that attended, was nice to put names to faces. Not that I'll remember many, it's my age.
Sorry to see the 75 Tourer going home via the AA. Hope it's not too serious.

Looking forward to the Granton on Spey meet where Flyer is going to teach me the Scottish language, the clean version.

We had a great time today, saw some old faces and met some new ones

For everybody who couldn't make it here is a little taster of the day, not much as I'll leave that to the people with better cameras than me

One with some random kid photo bombing the picture

Thanks for the Stovies George, I'm just about to dive in and have them for tea
