Hi Dave.
Each to there own i say, i would not touch those rubnuts with a barge pole, they are the exact ones that Rover used to fix the air duct to the slam panel, i have yet to find or see anyone undo those without them being seized up due to metal bolts and brass insert being corroded together.

Every single car that i have worked on with them on i've had trouble moving them, also after a time the brass inserts just turn in the rubber case.

So in my opinion it's Caveat Emptor” on them.
