How about Big pit and take in Blaenavon to Pontypool railway there is now a station at bigpit as well the Iron works where B.B.C. coal house was filmed regards alan

Would love to do one of these runs, but sadly the times always against me, weekdays im stuck with school runs morning and afternoon, and weekends work runs for kids. Be glad when SWMBO passes her test, so I can have some me time with the car and not be a Dads Taxi all the time.
Downside to living out of town no public transport access past 6.30pm

I think that a "static" event would be better at one venue. As I have never yet been to the Big Pit, that would be of interest to me, so Mark let me know the date....

Big pit has plenty of parking lots to see if you book as a group free guided tours 10% of this and that £2 car parking free entry . As i said in other post train interest close by . regards Alan
