Assume you have checked for water in the front footwell, and that the plenums are dry ?

The transponder in your key is almost certainly faulty, the cure is to remove the EWS immobiliser unit, and send it to me.
I will then program a new transponder for you, and return the EWS and transponder to refit to the car.
As regards to the no central locking from the key, it sounds as if the BCU has lost the coding, try unlocking the car with the key, then in rapid succession, press the lock button, if you're lucky the car will then lock on the remote and the remote will be resynchronised.
Hope this helps

I'm assuming you only have one key for the car?
