Default reversing sensors

can anyone tell me what the main reasons are for sensor failure and is it
a difficult repair or is it easier to just replace the unit

First check the reversing lights are working. If not then you'll probably need a reversing light switch (about £8).

If they are then the next common fault is a broken wire behind the bumper. Easy check is to put it in reverse and listen to each sensor.

If you need a new PDC unit, I think Les at SMC does them for about £15 + p&P. Easy job to change, 2 connectors and 2 nuts.

I'm assuming it's an OEM set up

Quite often the individual sensors can fail.
More so if you have been silly enough to use a Power Washer on your car.
They don't like that.

Main reason for sense of humour failure is not reading the instructions for fixing sense of humour failure on the club wub site

If people want any of these as Spares or for replacement we could all put our names and quantities on here then order all in one go.
Comments please.
Quantities will be in quite a high amount I should think for discount but I will enquire.

I never new you kept them in Stock Les.
Right everyone go direct to SMC Trading @ £10 each.
If i may suggest, Id list them in the For sale section Les as I am often getting asked about them or through questions on the forum.
