It's good and also a shame at the same time to see cars at this price. I think it's good as it makes it more affordable for people but sad that a car that looks as stately as the 75/zt is at such a low price. I understand that values go down that's obvious but when you see what that £500 ish will get you elsewhere it doesn't seem right

both worth a punt as you say the 190 with possible headgasket failure could just be the thermostat housing leaking or the pipes underneath.if has been cooked tho could be a diffrent matter. worth a look tho in both cases

i've had my 75 1.8 for nearly a fortnight. I paid slightly more than £500, but still a whole lot of car for such a small amount of money

The v6 would require very careful inspection - head gasket failure is rare on them and it could well be a miss-diagnosis, buuuuutttt...how many severe roastings has it had along the way?
It's difficult to see how the second one is anything other than a bargain - what else will you get for the money with 12 months MOT like that? Buy it and expect to have to sort some things along the way. My 75 came with 12 months MOT and 9 months tax for that money - I've done a few things to it since buying it, but then it's banger money so what do you expect? Be realistic, expect some fettling, and enjoy. |

£11 per week for a car with 12 months MOT, second one, a steal. First one needs more thought unless you are a good DIYer.
