Default happy christmas HGF

Driving home this afternoon in a 60 limit i decided to put my foot down a bit (within the speed limit) the car hasn't felt very smooth lately so i thought i would give it a bit of a blast, i usually drive very sedately to save petrol - as the turbo spooled up on acceleration i noticed smoke out the back, every time under acceleration the same happens but it's ok driving normally. Temp gauge and heater fine, when i got home i let it cool down and checked the coolant level, it took a litre! looks like i will be busy on Saturday

That's bad luck sworks, for the world it sounds like HGF.

Nice Christmas present heh!

Out of interest, how many miles has your car done?

Good luck and Merry Christmas

At least you can sort it out yourself which will probably save you megabucks - hope all is well soon then!

Yes, she's back and I've driven around a bit - all appears well and fingers crossed will do for some time yet!

The car is just under 39,000 miles. Was out today but didnt see any smoke, i will wait till the weekend and check the coolant again. I can do the hg myself so not too much of a problem
