Talking Diagnostic software/reader

Hi all needing some advice
I have a 2003 Rover 75 CDTI, I have been reading through the forum but cant seem to see what im looking for, Im looking for diagnostic software for a laptop running XP and adapter so I can read and clear fault codes, Does anyone have any Idea?

The wifi OBD2 reader I bought of the bay come with pc diagnostic software

Make sure your car is OBDII compliant. I have an ELM reader and it has been useful on other cars but not my CDT, which is a year 2000.

I've got one of these models

Mines a v 1.4 and its sorta useable on my late 03 CDTI, but does not give a lot of detail when connected, volts/RPM/o2/Fuel pressure ..not a lot else! ..

If your car has a metal collar in the top intercooler hose with a sensor connected it is OBD compliant.
If not it's not.
