Ronnie

I have got it on my S3, and have had it for a couple of months, some good things, like S Voice, and it seems a little quicker

Jelly Bean is a more refined version of Ice cream Sandwich really. Its smoother and leaner and of course has Google Now, which is better than S-Voice (or Siri for that matter).

Other than that on a Samsung its much the same because it will be skinned with Touchwiz.

I have jelly bean 4.1.2 on my Sony Xperia Z. It seems a good operating system but can't wait for 4.2 to come out.

I actually sold my Galaxy S3 and used the money to buy Nexus 4! Because it's a Google phone it already runs 4.2 and when 5 (key lime pie) comes out possibly next month it'll no doubt get that as well pretty quickly

Jelly bean is the best version of Android so far, fast and fluid, can't speak highly enough of it. Without wanting to spark another fanboy war my brother came round today with his iPhone 4s and iOS seems so dated now compared to Android. Basically Android has morphed beyond all recognition in the last 4 years whereas iOS doesn't seem to have changed very much at all. Suffice to say, expect to see my brothers iphone on ebay soon.........

I agree, although im not sold on Nexus Devices generally. I have a Nexus 10, which will fill my need for the latest and greatest Android Version, but for a phone I have an HTC One. There is just far to much added value in it over a nexus 4 to ignore.

The custom ROM community is such that often non Nexus devices get the latest android versions before Nexuses do! If you didnt get your Nexus from the Play store its virtually guaranteed.
