Are you sure they have seen the messages though? Or been on line since you sent them? I'm not saying this has happened, but it can be a factor sometimes

Not everyone has the auto pop up alert active on their profiles, so they can often not realise a message has come in. There is a request read receipt option in the PM window, that would help too in knowing if a message has been picked up.

I am currently still waiting for the member who last had the club VIS tester to read my PM to him, but he has not been on line for some days.

Thread moved to social forum. BTW.

There could be many reasons why people do not respond in a timely fashion so it wouldn't be fair to bash them for it.
If a subscribed members inbox is full it would take a long time to get through 75 PMs, a trader has several hundred to get through.
So please be patient or if there is a 'send email' link in their profile it may be worth your while using that.

PMs are OK but don't use them if you require a quick response, they will only be seen if the recipient logs into the forum and not everybody is on every day. If you need a quick response try the email option or if it's really urgent, phone.

????? When I am PM'd I always receive a club email notice informing me, and, the email shows the message content. Thought this was standard.

Hi John, it may be that some members do not realise the message needs a response. If its a question then yes obviously it does..It could be that the recipient of your pm doesn't feel your pm warrants or needs a reply...of course only you yourself know the details of the message...i'm just trying to understand why they would not respond...cheers
