Default Dashboard computer/panel.

This is potentially embarrassing, but I've read threads about people's MPG, and they have referred to the reading on the dash..... Erm.... do all the cars have that then?

All I can see on mine is the shadow of all the symbols for when stuff goes wrong

no, only cars with Hiline IPK fitted show this.

You have the Lowline version so it doesn't have the computer.

It would appear not in the picture you attached but in the oval panel above the warning lights - yours won't have that.
Can be changed to do it with the aid of a replacement clocks/stalk and a T4.

You can iew an instantaneous read out in L/100km on the small screen by enabling the diagnostic functions.

I've read about that, looks far to complicated for me to do, I'll only end up messing it up.
