Default Repairing sill rust - Recommendation

Whilst working underneath the car a month or so ago doing some MOT prep work I noticed a brown ring around the drain hole just situated behind the o/s rear jacking pad. intrigued, i decided to have a poke and the hole went the size of of a 10p piece. The car has never been welded and i definately didn't want to go down the tack on a patch and plaster underseal all over it route which although will pass an MOT is pig ugly. I ended up using this chap ( paul baker custom metalwork ).

the photos speak for themselves, there isn't even any filler used, just rub down and spray when the weather is better.

Has it been repaired? Or have you not posted the picture of the repair

Lovely to see some proper fabrication and welding. I used to do repairs like that before i got divorced and lost my garage , welders, tools etc etc

Wink

Top job so good that it looks original. I have been round all my ZTTs jacking points and injected BiltHamber Dynax S-50 cavity wax. Done the doors to. Hopefully will stop it from needing welding in the future.

Is that a repair section or fabricated by your repair man from sheet material?

a bespoke piece made by hand. I don't think repair sections or 75/zt sills are available.
