Default Leather repair

Any leather repair guys in the house? I wasnt sure if this should be in the 'Technical Help' section or in here, anyway I have a black leather T-Bar for my TF which I bought a while ago but not fitted. It's second hand so in used condition.

It has a bit of damage to surface of the leather. The top layer has come off leaving a different texture underneath, a bit like scuffing the toe of your new shoes. Not a deep indent but a clean thin layer has come off.

Can this be filled or polished to bring it back?
