Yes you can I had to buy one for mine as the previous keeper had lost it. It cost me about £50 new but that was 4 years ago so could be more now. However are you sure it is / was ever able to work via remote, I believe some were not. The remote receiver is, as I recall, behind the glove box just to the right of the fuse box, its about the size of a 20 cig packet and it has a coax type wire coming out of it. The new fob was easy to pair up, again as I recall you pull the fuse or the FBH and then put it back in again whilst pressing the button on the remote.

Much easier and cheaper to fit a GSM switch and call your car via your mobile!

If you think you may have the Webasto remote receiver and only need the remote fob, then as has previously been mentioned, you need to look to the right of the passenger fusebox for this:
However, it was fairly rare for the car to have the timer and the remote fitted from the factory. If you don't have the above box, then I suggest a GSM switch would be the easier and cheaper option, also giving you unlimited range to starting the parking heater...... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GSM-BOILER...item3380cd02be

I belive you need to remove the fuse for the heater then when you put the fuse back in keep the off button on the remote pushed and the LED should flash and that all there is too it i think,

FBH Running costs.....
The Webasto FBH is designed to use 0.5 kg of diesel per hour at full power (5kw)
The specific gravity of derv is about .78, so 1litre of fuel weighs 0.78kg. So, if my maths is correct, 1 hour of FBH af full load uses 0.64 litres of fuel. £1.30/litre = roughly 83p/per hour????? Mind you, that is at full power, and I know from using mine over the years it only takes a few minutes at full power to warm up the coolant, so then the Webasto slows down to just moderate the output temperature. My FBH is remotely controlled and set to run for 30 mins to pre-warm the car to 23 degrees C. 40 pence is EASILY worth it, when I jump into a fully warmed and de-frosted car. (At least one forum member has added a small tank in his boot so that he can run the FBH on red diesel or heating oil, meaning he's only paying 50p or so per litre......)
