Default 75 part help EGR Bypass wanted

where can i buy a bypass egr valve need one urgently as mine is leeking oil

Hi and to the club.
Before you rush to buy a EGR bypass, the valve does not have an oil supply, so replacing the valve will not cure your problem I'm afraid.
Where is the oil coming from?
There is always a certain amount of oil in the inlet tract and this "burns on" to the inside of the valve due to the exhaust gasses that the valve lets into the manifold. This is why they need cleaning as the build up of deposits can restrict the opening.
Egr bypass valves can be bought on e-bay from wingy777 £49.99 IIRC

my mistake egr blocked with carbon like soot it has caked on realy hard will try the person on ebay that you mentiond thank you

they are all like that - just clean it with white spirit or petrol and you'll be amazed at the difference in feel.

still cant find an egr bypass have emailed a few but no replies can anyone help
