Pictures wanted of the front and rear headlight levelling sensors
Gents there is NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- all on this in the manual even the wiring connectors are wrongly identified
I have a Tourer on my ramp with its nose pointing up in the air due to two broken rear springs. My Testbook is also reporting permanent fault codes on both headlight leveling sensors. I suspect this is because of the attitude of the car but if anyone has any I would appreciate pictures of the front and rear headlight leveling sensors as I know the cams can get out of position rendering the sensors useless. I just don't have anything to refer to to tell if they are in the correct position at the moment or not. Cheers |

There was a picture on these forums somewhere showing the front sensors...... I'll have a quick search about.

I posted them up for Paul (who's now got them)
If Simon can't find them I'll have a look.

Cheers I was searching last night but drew a blank
We had a similar thread on the 260s forum and the general statement was if the are an L shape which on this car they are it was wrong as the correct appearance is like a figure 7 but it look like a fair bit of brute force is needed to get the rear one into a 7 shape so I don't want to break anything Do you have the back one? |

Excellent thanks the rear one on this car is the same as yours
I haven't checked the front one yet though I will get him to replace his broken rear springs first as I don't do H&S related work on cars and then see if the fault is still present The car looks really odd nose up I am amazed he hadn't realised something was kaput but the car is a bit of a daily driver rear wheels were seized on and the interior looks like one of my kids bedrooms Last edited by Keith; 12th September 2008 at 18:29.. |

Just to check as I have just been looking at these on my car are the sensors only on the drivers side or should I have one fitted on the passengers side as well?
