Default Door handle removal the really easy way

Just discovered this.remove small piece of chrome waist trim,insert a hook through the square hole and pull the clip back.done.may cost the price of 1 clip if your fussy.

a pic sire showing the size and shape of hook may be invaluable to those of s who do not wish to damage our crochet needles...

Don't ask me about pics,sore subject.it was just the curved hook from those hook and pick sets you get for about £2 off the car boot.

Sorry to be thick, is it the clip that hold the pins on the thumb finisher that you are talking about?

Yes bob correct,but still in my case,I still have to take off the door card to slide the clip back as I'm in filling the recesses.still useful for others though.

well took all my trim off and filled in the recess today. just got to do the top coat 2 moro. then tinker with the handles, must warn you I have been working on it for two full days. its a lot of work!

there is only a small gap where the trim went into the handles, I am thinking of putting some back rubber in them, not sure.

I've rounded the corners of mine with the linisher her,then filling the hole with fibreglass then painting.
