Old 3 Speed Cooling Fan Motor.
Stuart, (smcaul)
Got you old fan motor apart today you was right about the low speed the brush is virtually non existent. See photos. The commutator has worn down from 31.75mm to 30.70mm. Armature shaft is ok and no wear on the bearing surfaces although the Oilite sintered bronze bearings are dry as are the felt oil pads.
