Hi all i was looking at buying the Tazu Master Cylinder, i was just wondering where was the best and most reasonable place to purchase from? Ebay seems the cheapest i think.

I bought one from DMGRS I think if I remember it was slightly more from him, but I bought that because it was branded X-Part possibly made in the same factory as the tazu but I personally believe in you get what you pay for.
fitting, I bled the air out on the bench and fitted the pipe and quick release fitting, that was the easy bit! as fitting inside the footwell is a nightmare but do-able if you are patient. well worth it compared to the plastic one which had just been replaced before I bought the car and was leaking within 5 months.

Another vote here from DMGRS. Was the best I could source and fitted like a dream and not had an ounce of trouble.
Not the absolute cheapest, but is thereabouts and the cheapest you'll find at that quality level. And the service from DMGRS has been great.

I shall definitely be going for the metal replacement I assumed the eBay and DMGRS where the same item am I wrong? I had someone fit a second hand plastic one last time and has failed already after only 6 months

I have thoughts similar to that as well but like I said earlier I believe in you get what you pay for. pay a bit more from a trusted supplier and no problems to be found 9 months after fitting.
https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...0146-stc105480 one reason why I bought this one was simply because it stamped up as genuine, but again its very similar in looks to the tazu one. its your choice at the end of the day all I can advise it that this one has out lived the old one.

I ordered mine directly from Tazu at the start of the year, arrived within a week which was ok for me as mine was just on it's way out but still useable.

If they didnt come with a horror show of copper pipe id have one for sure.
If it was easy to swap the main plastic piping, Id have that with the metal master. |
