Default Bars in place of rails tourer

Silly question but i have saloon roof bars and need to collect a roof box. But I sold the saloon. Will my rails unbolt from the tourer and let me use the holes for the bars. Anyone tried?

I doubt it as the OEM saloon bars are specific for front & rear & the estate roof angles will be different.
Aftermarket bars will be adjustable so perhaps they will.

To answer my own question. They do and they don't. The front is perfect fit. The back bar using the middle holes for the rails is 1 meter from the other bar and nearly fits. The angle is negligible due to the fact that they are aero to begin with so are still better than a Thule square bar. So the only issue is that the saloon must be around 15 mm wider at the point where the bars fit. Solution is that I've extended the slots that the bolts go onto and as the wing nuts now foul the bar i used homemade washers for each side and install it with a socket. Also the typhoon looks better without rails.
