2000 Rover 75 petrol: retractable towbar
Gentlemen,
I have on my 75 Connie SE a Rover retractable towbar. It must be ten years since I last used it. I have the key, and it will remove the little lock thing, but I can't remember how to install tow hitch and can't find any instruction sheet in the car or the house. I would be grateful for either a copy of the relevant info, or some words of guidance as I will need to use it in the next few days. Thanks in advance, Derek. |

Thanks, David2000, for the suggestion. Since posting I found this, from five years ago: https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=116926
It is the 'help' sheet that I recall but can't find. The absence of prose makes it almost as useless as not having it. A picture is worth 1000 words, but it seems, as I discovered, that none of them are printable! Still, the wire brush treatment, suggested therein, is more logical. Derek. |
