You read it? So much waffle to fill out the page. Anything of interest I lose with boredom, why do writers waffle so much?

Thanks Ron, excellent article.
The creeping existence of the many illegal restrictions we now are covered by is due to the revival and gradual establishment of the evangelist. It fills a perceived gap in the market. The new religions offer new Gods. With the advent of TV and internet we all know who they are, even to the extent of using children as click-bait, with new prophesies of Doom and of eternal damnation for non-believers. Plague, famine and pestilence reappear in non-deniable form until they in some form or another fade away. Secular wars of attrition take care of organised resistance and the fear of exposure as dinosaurs takes over. Soon objectors are ridiculed and attacked as heretics. We'll be back to witches ducking stools soon.

The historic stuff is fine. The stuff about free speech, climate change and corona is nonsense and the bit about Prince Charles is irrelevant. If he were spouting this stuff in a pub the barman would be saying you've had enough chum, time to go home.
He also seems to have forgotten to mention the Spanish Flu epidemic when people (presumably not dulled by state education but presumably still paying taxes for fear of incarceration rather than an appreciation that they pay for society) died in their millions. Perhaps it didn't fit.
