What is this connector?
I was mucking around cleaning under the Bonnet the other day and I noticed this connector is very easy to remove, a little more digging and I found it should have a metal retaining clip which mine does not.
Anyone got any ideas where to source a replacement, it obviously hasn't caused any problems up to now but knowing it's missing is driving me insane. Sent from my M2007J3SG using Tapatalk |

im sure you would be able to buy something new online. if you can get a second hand one from a trader on here, with tail leads attatched you may be able to utilise the spring. if not then a quick solder job and heatshrink ....job done.

This is what the clip looks like. I dismantled this connector and all the rest when I replaced the head gasket in 2019.
EDIT: To answer your original question, it's the camshaft position sensor wiring plug. TC Last edited by T-Cut; 23rd September 2021 at 19:56.. |
