why does my 2003 car only have piping round the outside of the leather seats,when cowley built cars have two,so does the facelift?

Mine has both and is an 02 - presumably that's a Longbridge motor?

My 52 plate also has piping on both the seat edge and inside like shakennstirred's picture.

Can you show us a photo of your seats Pab?

My 03 Tourer only has single piping, also the leather on the seats is very different (hard) compared to my former 05 Saloon and my W reg saloon, which are very soft leather.

i only noticed this on friday when looking in a cowley car,and this morning in a facelift.wonder why they opted for single piping around 2003

My Facelift has the two lots of piping and soft leather.

some headrests also have no piping to save money in Project Drive.

mine have the two bands of piping but hard leather...which is better from a wear point of view i think...but do feel colder when you sit on them...thank heavens for heated seats....my cars y2k but the seats came from a y reg (01)
