Default London to Brighton run

Hi all, This Sunday (6th June) we are taking part in a London to Brighton classic car run, I know its not 75/ZT but thought any of you living near Brighton might fancy an afternoon looking at classic motors, last year there was 100s of cars and lots of people came out to look. I think the first cars should be on Madeira drive by about 2pm and then a steady flow up to about 4pm. We will be in a 1972 Mercedes 350sl in dark blue with swmbo driving and me navigating, if you see us come and say hello.

Excellent, have you been before? There are usually a fair few cars there. I'll keep my eye out for your car but my eyes arent what they used to be

yes, we did it for the first time last year, we even got flagged away from the start at brooklands by Sterling Moss, I dont suppose he will make it this time. It was a fantastic weekend, we stayed at Brooklands the night before and also stayed in Brighton after the run wich we will be doing this year also.

Have a good day. I rode in the London And Surrey Mini Owners Club run to Brighton a couple of weeks ago in my friend's (BMW) Mini, and had a great day out apart from the incredibly early start - left his house at 04:30 to get to the start at Crystal Palace park.

Went to University in Brighton in the early 90s and knew it well - very happening place. Hope the weather will be good.

I did the Mini L to B run in 2005 with my son, made a weekend of it dropping off my wife and daughter in Cambridge and fetching them on the way back, fabulous time, but like you said, early starts.
Picture of it our car very far left.White with union jack roof.
