Default A cluck from the front!

A cluck from the front!
Hi all, this ones got me. I noticed a clunk from the front of my ZT, this happens then driveing along and i take my foot off the accelerator pedal, about 1 second later there a clunk and then i change gear.
This sounds to me like a engine mount then the engine comes on/off load.
The lower engine mount was changed a year ago, ive checked the o/s mount its ok, n/s mount checked best i could without removeing battery.
The cars just been mot and passed with flying colours, but i have just rechecked all front ball joints/bushes etc all fine.
Ive checked driveshafts both fine.
Im thinking may be gearbox as then i had the front jacked up and in 1st gear, if i spin one wheel by hand theres a clunk from the gearbox as the differential starts to turn the other wheel.

The thing is now i know its there i can hear it above the radio!

Have i missed something?

What do you think?

Rear lower engine mount, known as teardrop mount, common problem, best check it again. not cheap i'm afraid. around £80 for the mount IIRC around 30 mins DIY fit.

I assume you have checked void bushes but you tend to feel them on the brake pedal.

Cluck form the front, made me smile checked your grill for chickens

Possibly, or rear mountings on front arms, there are other possibilities but these are the most common
