Default Back seat trouble

I have no turn over back seat. Therefore I pulled the ropes yesterday, to take it out, and reseated the bottom part correctly.
Now when I reseat the back, it does not "click" anymore, and luckage from the back might try to push the back foreward in case of an accident.

Sorry for the bad explanation, but it is hard to find the english terms for those specific terms.

I ahve had this, especially with my nice new leather seats! You must make sure that the base of the rear seat back (the vertical one) is engaged in the slot at the base. To do this I found that the seat squab (the bit you sit on) must be hinged forward to allow the rotating lugs to rotate properly into the braket at the ends of the seats. Then the seats wouls align properly and the rear would lock. The put the sqaub back, engaging the clips at the back first then pushing it down until the spring locks engage.

Thanks, I will try that. However the whole action was actually to get the seat squab in correctly. This goes very easy, when the rear seat back is removed, and very hard, when the rear seat back is in place.

I found it impossible to get the backrest to "click-in" while the the seat is in place.
I believe the correct order is backrest first then seat.
T-Cut has a post on this.

I spent hours trying to refit the seat back on my wife's car. The tapes that you pull were not routed correctly and were jamming. I rerouted them but it still would not lock in. The saddles on the bulk head are adjustable so I tried that but still it wouldn't lock in. I gave up in the end. Your post has reminded me to try again.
