Default Early "S392 DEH" 75 Connie

This might be of interest to some hardcore members.
On Auto Trader, in Wedgewood, apparently it's only done 27,000 miles. Must be one of the earliest examples in Connoisseur spec.

That looks nice and in exceptional condition, although not so sure about the facelift wheels?

Personal Line interior as well.

Whilst there has been much debate over the relative value of 75's on here lately I do feel they are being a touch ambitious at £3995 for what is now a 12 year old car? They also "state" that is the earliest surviving example known. Anyone want to phone and ask for the chassis number and pick an argument?

Deep Sea Blue. The surround for the central locking on the -tunnel- doesn´t look like it´s plain black. Could be a launch car. X Part should have the Vin number and date it rolled off.....

Do it, i'm curious as to whether it's older than OVP.
It would be nice to own the oldest surviving 75, but not for £4000 it wouldn't.

Would have thought the "S" reg fans would have been all over this by now, either to prove or disprove the claim.

If it's true, again, I would have thought there are peeps on here willing to pay that for it. because if it is true, then it's not just rare, it is unique innit..

And further, should it be true, then this is the car that should belong to the club!!

I have not rung the place, so have therefore not started a debate with the dealer, but the Vin is M001157.

That car has been posted on here before and the dealer has had it forever! Not surprised at four grand!

Is it this one....

http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...909+aox&page=4

It was supposed to be Vin 157 not 1157

If it is 1157 then it is still 8 cars after mine. But then again RHD where mine is LHD

Thanks for the input....

Been looking at the S-Reg threads again. Seems to be some confusion.

Martin Green put up reg S932 DEH. This was supposed to have VIN nr 197

S525 OVP>1196
S471 AOX> 1382
S542 AOX>1482
S932 DEH> 00197
S577 AOX> 1480(I THINK)
S909 XDA> YOU TELL ME I think yours around 1149?.

Then to illistrate this car he puts up a photo of a car with reg nr S392 DEH. I din´t notice and no-one else seems to have seen the shuffle in the digits.

Then Reebs puts up:

S932 DEH = 000197 (doesn't show on EPC)
S909 XDA = 001149
S525 OVP = 001196
S471 AOX = 001382
S542 AOX = 001428
S577 AOX = 001538

Now S392 DEH again. Vin 1157

Bit of a mixup.....
