Default A bit of advice Lads, Please!

I have decided to go for Snow Chains instead of socks after looking at some reviews, but I have a problem; my tyre size is, 215X55X16 and I can’t get Snow Chains in these sizes. The sizes I am looking at state, 215X60, 215X70, but any Chains I have looked at with a profile of 215 does not have the 55 profile? Can anybody advise me where I can buy them?

Chains are much harder on the feet than socks, but will certainly last a lot longer innit............................................. ....... :xmas-smiley-004: ..lmho.

Ignore the spam.... :xmas-smiley-004: James... behave.... innit

Chains can cause scratches on your alloys. Snow socks do not

Chains take a long time to set up and apply, whereas the socks are very quickly applied

Thanks’ Dragrad, I never thought of the wheels getting scratched, I was worried about the reports that the Chains can slip and damage the car. OK I will take your advice, you’ve changed my mind, and Snow Socks it is. Now where are the good deals, as I have said before, all the sellers have put their prices up by £10 and they now cost around £60, also what size fits a 215x55x16 tyre is it the, Small, Medium, Large?

PS. Were you trying to put in a link for me to see a video?

Err no, no link attempted. :xmas-smiley-004:

Decent sellers will give you the appropriate tyre sizes in their ads.
